As a company dedicated to creating the next generation of conservationists, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment values the input, critical perspectives, and leadership of young people who are passionate about animal stewardship and environmental conservation. We recognize that in order to accomplish our goal of reaching young audiences with the message of conservation and wildlife protection, we must meaningfully engage young people in guiding our decisions and work.

The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council was established in 2015, uniting an outstanding group of young conservation leaders from across the country selected through a nationwide application process. Council members provide strategic input and recommendations to SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and our partners on topics including conservation initiatives, social media/communications, education programs, and strategies for reaching youth audiences across the country. Council members also directly lead initiatives to support our mission through conservation advocacy, communication, and outreach. Members have the chance to collaborate with experts in the fields of conservation and education, while working alongside their peers from across the country.

We are excited to announce applications are open for the 2020 class of SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council members!

Applicants for the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council must:

• Be between the ages of 14-20 at the time of application.
• Be a resident of the United States.
• Have a passion for conservation and education.
• Have the ability to work with a team of youth and adults to accomplish common goals.
• Have an interest in providing a youth voice to the work of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.
